Art Company Exhibition | Team Pearl Corp. <Separium: 12th Elevator>
In 2024, in collaboration with Arts Korea Lab, a new project was introduced at Sónar+D in Barcelona and Gitex Global - Expand North Star in Dubai,
exploring new possibilities at the intersection of art and technology. This initiative featured the work of an Arts Korea Lab resident art company. <Separium: 12th Elevator> is set in the sci-fi world of "Separium," within the unique worldview of "Sepafuturism" created by Team Pearl. Separium is a space radically separated from nature, exclusively for humans. In this imagined setting, Team Pearl explores the fragmentation of perception through the existence of hybrid beings at the extreme boundaries of separation and division. |

Fusion Remix, Art Partners, and New Technologies of 2024
The fusion of art and technology generates a variety of intriguing issues. For example, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) could actually be a product of labor-intensive processes, and AI-driven decisions might turn out to be the most human. Additionally, technology can serve as an effective tool for creating immersive experiences in exhibitions. In this session, three Super Rookies selected for the <2024 Super Testbed> will share insights from their projects, sparking discussions around the ethics, labor, and immersion challenges that arise when art and technology intersect.
