Eligibility Criteria

Artists who wish to expand their artistic scope through the utilization of technology

Artists with creative visions but who have yet to discover the appropriate technology.

Support for Artists
  • Offering diverse educational programs and workshops, with a special focus on new technological integrations in creation.
  • Providing resources to craft prototypes, enabling artists to preview their creations before final production.
  • Initiating projects that encourage multifaceted collaborations.
  • Presenting avenues to circulate and showcase art, from festivals to forums and beyond.
  • Investigating and sharing insights on the future trajectory of art.
  • Holistic backing for emerging artists (collegiate level) in the realms of creation, education, and market engagement.
Art × Tech Super Testbed
  • Providing technological education and art experimentation support utilizing the facilities/equipment of Arts Korea Lab.
  • Support for expanding the creation/production area at each stage of idea implementation(Pre-Creation/Production).
Sound Focus
  • Medium to long-term support for fostering sound fusion art talents and establishing sound art infrastructure.
  • Support for collaboration programs with domestic and international professional institutions such as IRCAM(France) and the Korea Electro-Acoustic Music Society etc.
Art&Tech Festival
  • Collaboration with the Seoul Performance Arts Festival, global art platforms, to discover/produce excellent cases of art x technology convergence and support domestic and international distribution.
Developing Digital Audience
  • Support for diversifying audience layers such as digital audiences, youth/family audiences, and discovering new distribution channels.
  • Progression in stages including research/survey, discourse, pilot projects, and dissemination/sharing.
Climate Crisis
  • Initiating art projects that touch upon climate change themes and promoting their adoption within the artistic community.
  • Engaging in studies and discussions on climate crisis-themed art, exploring innovative infrastructures, and spearheading pilot initiatives.
Supporting Artists from Universities
  • Identifying promising art-centric startup concepts from graduate students.
  • Offering a holistic approach, from conception to education and then to business development, broadening horizons within the realm of art.
